Thw parchuli is also way too dominant for my liking. So far my favorite Chanel fragrance I think. It's sharp and lasts a REALLY long time. Sometimes it almost borders on unisex but it's still so feminine and chic. It is definitely a watered down version of the older bottle. It is still 85% full. Defintiely heavier and more noticeable, too. Good lasting power and moderate sillage. This one could easily be a unisex fragrance. I'm only really tempted to wear this in the evening for a special occasion because it is really rich and the sillage is monstrous, but in the right frame of mind this is a rowdy Gatsby-style party. Although it is a very popular fragrance and I get to smell it a lot on people, I am thoroughly repelled by it. Or I will swap for a 100ml new/newish edp. Very nice balance. Chance is sweetly earthy, with a patchouli base common to other Chanel releases. I still love the smell of Chance, it has that classic Chanel smell that I've always loved. It is not accidental, though, as it is a \'wheel of fortune\'. The heart encompasses hyacinth, jasmine and iris, while the base is composed of amber, patchouli, vetiver and white musk. Few years ago I bought the EDP. It makes for a sweet floarlly perfume with hints of sexiness. I would describe it as a burst of pink champagne. I have the edp on my wish list, maybe the edp would be better! A wave of extreme freshness meets with the flowery notes and continues with sensual spicy composition. The edt is sweet and fresh and rich, and not as heavy as the edp. The patchouli and pepper are proeminent, but the fragrance is quite fresh, in comparison to other Chanel fragrances, it`s not musky, in my opinion. I just didnt want to keep both. Everyone kept saying this is a high school scent but to me it's unisex and would suit 30-40 year old women better. can not believe. It lasts forever!Tried yesterday evening after 12 hours still sniffing my wrist.Ive tested 3-4 fragrances ( do not recommend to test more than 4 perfumes at once) and Chanel Chance was more memorable and characteristic than the others.I think Ive been prejudged Chanel perfumes to be as sharp and masculine except Chanel Allure butEach of them has a point, being masculine or crispness can not preclude the seduction of them.Thats why its in my wishlist :) So if you are looking for a fresh and dynamic fragrance can be worn all occasions with a pretty good perfomance, safe to say anybody to purchase. It's won over so many hearts throughout time. This perfume is beyond gorgeous on cold days I love it more than ever! Also, jasmine usually makes me sick, but this is so well hidden and incorporated in the perfume that I don't even notice it. One of the best perfumes of our time, a modern masterpiece. If the word perfume had its own scent, it is what Chance smelled like on me. It's chic, modern, fresh, and inoffensive - I usually wear it when I know I'll be sitting in a meeting room all day.
To my surprise, I was left with huge disappointments. I always had original, maybe since 2009. Gotta love that. This is a classy scent. A lovely, lovely fragrance why on earth did I despise her so? There is a lot of flirty pink pepper on the initial spritz, and on me it dries down to a good amount of musk coming through the patchouli. This one reminds me of a champagne. I adore this Chanel perfume, but Id still say Eau Tendre is my favorite. When I think of who would wear this, I always imagine a really successful, confident independent woman with her own giant, beautiful office with an amazing view in some skyscraper downtown. It is not my cup of tea. And somewhere, pineapple. Constantly changing and somehow different with every spray. What has not been said about Chance? The patchouli is heavenly! I think it's not one of Chanel's best creations being to sweet and sickening. Not a safe blind buy imo. This scent seems to get dismissed as a "young" scent, and it certainly will have a broader appeal to include a contemporary demographic compared to its spicer and more complicated Chanel cousins. Effervescent, uplifting, slightly sweet, light enough not to raise any eyebrows, pleasant, clean, modern patchouli, yet I wouldn't call it boring. It's just that it's not original enough to take a place on the top shelf. Chanel Chance edt is my favorite out of the Chance line. Absolutely stunning. "Tart" is a great way to describe this fragrance. Fragrantica Inc, United States. If you cant do that then you risk blind buying a fragrance that you may or may not like. I know lots of people love this - please spray it on your skin! It was my work perfume for many years because of it's sporty elegance, if there is such term. Projects very well.

Especially since I live in a colder climate 10 months of out of the year now. I put it on this morning and right now the I Feel Pretty song from West Side Story is flowing through my head. Wonderful sillage that lasts for hours. Although I normally like strong fragrances, I honestly cannot wear this day after day without being sick. Lol! Perfume is subjective. The perfume for a woman who doesn't lack self-confidence and is the maker of her own destiny. Sweet pineapple, sparkly patchouli, jasmine, hyacinth and lipsticky iris. But after a couple of hours it all became yummy musky! I stumbled across a cheap and full bottle in a thrift store and sprayed it on. Unfortunately it does not work on me: it becomes masculine ans aftershave-like. I wanted to test it because my friend uses this one.
upcitemdb refills chanel 7oz I do get a n5 vibe, does anyone else? Pink Pepper and Amber Patchouli or maybe the Cumarin are the first notes that hit my nose then it turns sweet with the Vanilla, Lemon, and Geranium, however that Aldehydes are quite intense that I sense a mixture of citric and floral sweet dry fragrancesmells like a rare Champagne, Cheers! I was 16 when it was released, and it was love at first smell. I first discovered my love for this fragrance many years ago and every now and then, Ill pick it up and be surprised all over again. For some reason, pink pepper doesn't seem to bother me as much in Chanel perfumes as it normally does. I feel it is safe for work, it represents a strong independent woman. Just because you are upset with yourself for wasting money on a fragrance you dont like doesnt mean its fragranticas fault! Almost even like a hairspray. 5 and Allure do the same on me, so maybe it's something that Chanel uses? Winter masterpiece. This smells so good in the bottle and on others. Longevity is excellent, sillage is good. It's bright and happy on the surface but those wonderful florals then bend it towards very sexy. Just got myself a partial bottle and I will probably like this. I feel like Chance EDT sometimes gets overlooked in favor of other Chanel fragrances nowadays, but it's one of my favorites from this house and rightfully a modern classic. This is a great scent to wear year round but for some reason it really reminds me of spring. I have repurchased it a few times and I just love how pretty it makes me feel. The pineapple really stands out. I totally agree with what many of you have written here. I try not to cheat as that first spritz when I am on the way to the airport it so joyous, although I have had trouble in the past getting through security with the bottle one of those marvellous perfumes that I can smell from a mile off and go AHHHH Chance!
sp chanel chance fraiche eau scentsworld edp
I don't know why but I just can't like this perfume. And it never truly goes away, it just dries down to a green musky type of fragrance. If so, please share!!! Shades of Knowing, Aromatics Elixir, some of the Balenciagas and Halston Classic for Women perhaps. This made me fall in love with patchouli-spiked floral chypre scents in general (eg. It's opening notes are quite strong and citrus-y, which almost wakes your nose up for the day haha. This probably isn't going to be to your liking if you don't like patchouli. Chanel Chance is one of those fragrances! Chance is pure class. This is absolutely GORGEOUS! Very fresh in cooler weather and more woody and patchouli in warmer weather. Always fresh and lovely with very soft wisps of musk delicately wrapping around the floral core. It makes me happy. The EDT and EDP versions of Chance are different. Patchouli? Go easy on application, this is strong. Elegant, clean, fresh but sweet, enough spicy, seductive makes me think of fairies :))). Chance is the only Chanel perfume in round bottle as opposed to the classical plane Chanel N5 rectangle bottle. Pretty good longevity and nice sillage . The sort of woman who wears this has an expensive taste but she's effortless and doesn't care that this perfume is borderline (or definitely?) Soft and elegant. Pineapple, lemon, lilac and musk were the star notes. Fragrantica Trends is a relative value that shows the interest of Fragrantica members in this fragrance over time. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. One of my favorite Chanel perfumes. It smells perfect. It was absolutely intoxicating. I'm 38 and wore this when it first came out I loved it made a big statement I had so many compliments and now I still love it I think its a unusual fragrance and has great staying power. I like it, but dont love it. Very reminiscent of Mademoiselle without the heavy citrus and floral notes. Perfume lovers: 792,148 Very safe blind buy. But for a bottle of EDT it really lasts all day long! I usually get headaches from too much patchouli but the edt version is chic and nice love it. This is the only non-Les Exclusifs Chanel I can tolerate, and I love this one. The pineapple is light and lovely, I'm a big fan of pineapple in fragrance, it makes me quite nostalgic. A friend could smell it on me but for the price I want to smell it on myself. Lovely lovely! This is a slightly warm, classy scent that will accompany you all day without being overpowering. This also lasts, in my opinion much longer given that it is an EDT. Lo and behold I finished the sample and bought a bottle of EDT! I tried this fragrance a while ago and it smelled like bug spray to me. The top notes are very close to Coco Mademoiselle which Coco M develops into more feminine side. Pure love! I really thought I would like this since I absolutely adore the EDP, but this is a no for me. This is very weak now as early reviews report. If only we could tempt Monsieur Polge out of retirement. I agree all positive reviews and the fact that it reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle. Just wow. !Very feminine, modern, bright, clean, and classy. Not a typical mainstream fragrance. The composition is simple but intriguing,Very luminous and youthful fragrance,or at least for those who still feel young, Im layering this with a brown sugar scented body spray right now and wow. She is not too sexy but not too innocent either. Sampled this at the perfume counter yesterday, out of pure curiosity. It is really elegant and feminine. It smells older than coco mad. And also versatile, you can wear night or day. Chance is Coco Mmes sister who strays away from trends and likes to get lost in the woods. This is great on me. Kind of bitter, almost identical to ammonia , doesn't let it be an absolutely clean scent must said like urine. Fragrance of modern conception with little evolution. I have a love and hate relationship with this one, until I figured the one I like is the EDP and always had the EDT! This was my first chanel parfume, when i got sample i was in love it with it so much i had to buy bottle, its femine sweet and citrusy. A real girl girls scent. This delivers the classic Chanel signature fragrance, as if 'Chanel' were a note all unto itself - fresh, yet somehow also warm and sultry. Top notes are Patchouli, Pink Pepper, Pineapple, Hiacynth and iris; middle notes are Lemon, Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Patchouli, Musk, Vetiver and Vanilla. I totally loved it! She knows what she likes and that's enough. But of course, they are completely different scents and personalities. But this is by no means a sweet perfume if that makes sense. However,if you want a bigger bang for your buck, go with Madmoiselle. I think this can be worn day or night i personally wear this parfume for special occasions. I normally dont like patchuli can be very strong but in here its well balanced. I already own quite a few patchouli perfumes now to get familiar enough with it and the one used in this fragrance is totally different. Great concoction that Chanel put together on this one. Performs very well in HOT weather. The guy was like, what smells so good? It's earthy and clean smelling, while fresh and sweet. I don't like the opening, but after a while it just develops into this beautiful beautiful scent. unisex. It has none of the candied orangey jasmine sweetness and heavy patchouli and incense of Coco Mademoiselle. I notice this quite a lot in my place of work and the problem seems to come when it is sprayed on clothing - it just gets very stale and sour and the wearer does not appear to notice - anosmic perhaps? what smells better than that? The EDP lasts a bit longer, but not much. I asked my husband to order Chance Eau Fraiche and then he made a mistake and ordered Chance EDT. It's a serious, adult, lady-like fragrance and very, very citrusy. Nothing special but smells nice. This smell like a headache in a bottle. It is generally pleasing, non-offensive and does not make a statement. I tested the EDT again and wasnt sure about that one anymore. Because I found out that it smells so beautiful and attractive after you have dipped in the water. Its easy to say it comes from the house of Chanel. It is classy and dependable for any time. It's my favorite soap. I think coco mademoiselle is playful, yet serious and unapproachable. I see other Chanel rather clumsy and too earthy to be worn every day, but Chance fits glamour and cotton t-shirt equally. It smells like pencil shavings to me and is the thing that stops me reaching for this more often. I'm a big fan of the EdP but had never tried this one. it makes me feel fresh & new, ready to take on the world, ready to start a new chapter in my life. Bright and glorious! I felt dizy and sick!

I have about 5ml left in the 100ml bottle I bought 5 years ago and Im determined to finish it so Ill be wearing it all this week with that aim but I dont think Ill be repurchasing. I will love Chanel Chance edt to the end of my life. It's very light on first spritz, then dries down to something foul on my skin. I kept it well away from light. Then it gets sort of spicy. I wish people would stop comparing Chance to Coco Mademoiselle. Ever since this was launched, I was hooked. I don't own a bottle of Chance, but I will propably at some point. I adore pink pepper, and it's beautiful in this wonderful happy perfume. This is kind of lovely. I smell black pepper and lemon. In the day when every other fragrance smells sickeningly sweet and sugary, Chanel keeps the mark high by showing everyone how modern elegance, youthfulness and class can be united in a smell they called Chance, which by the way means LUCK in French. It has strong patchouli notes with slight peppery, floral citrus-y notes in the background. Epicene Gamma IFF: The Common Part of Spicy Men's Colognes of the 1980s? Love it. Back then I really disliked it. Please try if you get a "CHANCE". I can understand why you have to dare to wear it if you haven't tried something alike before. I think it's fine as sort of a change from perfumes I wear daily (especially during the winter), but not as everyday fragrance. It has sat, unloved at the back of my wardrobe. I bought it for the pink pepper and citrus combo, but im getting more pineapple, iris, jasmine and musk.
macy Marissa Zappas Announces A New Collection + A Giveaway! It's elegant and feminine. I love it. I wanted this to work on me so badly. I know that sounds absurd, but as a patchouli lover, I can always appreciate a good patchouli fragrance and Chanel is the master of blending it to perfection. In my opinion this is the most youthful Chanel perfume and the flankers are adorable too. 100% feminine, everyone can wear wtv they like but this was though out for women. There's going to be a new Chance coming out this year called "Eau Vive" that contains blood orange. Much already has been said about this beautiful scent. So uplifting, maybe it's the hit of hyacinth that I love so much, and the jasmine. This one didn't work for me, I got a mishmash of notes that just smelled like a generic lotion on my skin. My mom bought a bottle, and I used to sneak into her bathroom to spray someLove it ever since! If Coco Mademoiselle is the gorgeous tan housewife past her prime, drunk on Moscato, flirting with everyone at the party, then Chance is her prim blonde daughter glaring at her from the other side of the room, cautiously sipping her Ros. Smells boring to me, would suit all seasons and inoffensive for the office I guess. This perfume is perfect to wear if you are going to the pool, especially when you are on a date. I thought some chemical reaction must of happened there with the pool water. Something went wrong. I wear Chanel Chance at least twice a week. I typically prefer really girly gourmand, vanilla sweet fragrances and this is the complete opposite. If Chance EDT is too tart and mish-mashed for your tastes, or if it just doesn't work with your chemistry, try the EDP version. A true modern classic. I kinda like it more than Coco Mademoiselle EDP even, it is "spicier". For me, Chance EDP is a true joy! Great for office wear. It simply does not do justice to Chanel and pales in comparison with Coco Mademoseille. Its very woody in the dry down. I love this one! I don't get any of the patchouli or spiciness that some people get. The dry down is beautiful jasmine. And I'm definitely gonna repurchase. Never cloying either which I sometimes get from Chanel Coco or Noir. It seems as though people either love this or hate it. Sometimes utterly feminine, sometimes more tomboyish, but always true to herself. I think the men would find this attractive on their ladies xoxo, I first smelled this on a girl crush in college. I like it, I don't love it. It's light and fizzy. Maybe my olfactory system isn't as sophisticated as other people's. But once I sprayed on midriff area, it blossomed. You can wear it all the year and in any occasion and it is never boring. if you add Ginger and Insence to Chance you end up with Bleu (edt)IMO. I've had this one (100ml) for almost 2 years. It was a blind buy for me and I didn't like it at all on the initial spray. This has all of the same classic and timeless elements while still having a relevant, youthful quality to it. I think of weddings when I think of this perfume. After wearing it and seeing how it smells on me, I think I may add it to my collection. My boyfriend describes this fragrance on me as, a beautiful woman, walking down a grand flight of stairs into a ballroom. It has that good old Chanel feminine class. Sprayed on my lower arm, this has a strong pencil shaving/peppery quality, and somewhat non-descript. I was given this about 7 years ago. This one is similar to Coco Mademoiselle. I recently rediscovered chance again while walking through the mall. I like the fact that is sweet without being overly sweet still remaining classic. I didn't know anything about designer labels at the time. Chance is so elegant and refined. They way too heavy. Nothing special. My review is edt. Pink Pepper, patchouli, musk, a little pineapple in there somewhere and all put into creme brule. Sillage is average on this and I should top up after about 5-6 hours but I dont very often because of that top note! To me it's a lighter and fresher/ crispier version of Madmoiselle. Much more likable than what it was.

A simple fragrance with a Chanel touch indeed, mostly a patchouli floral with a touch of pepper and musk. I tried the Chance EDT and initially really enjoyed it, so I tried the EDP and just wasnt as impressed. Pretty effortlessly beautiful. Once, I take a walk and saw Chanel Chance on sale. A perfect mix of pink pepper, lemon and patchouli. Here in Costa Rica is a ladies favourite. And it was strange, because in a perfume shop I just loved it. I thought it was fresh and feminine. This smells like champagne and patchouli. This fragrance is a true love! Slightly sweet, fresh, airy, pretty, feminine yet classy!!! Longer than most of my other perfumes. I consider Chance to be my signature..and it actually came out in early 2002..I remember because I bought it. Let's talk about Chance. Chance by Chanel was the EDT I wore when I had my first kiss, drove for the first time, and graduated high school. Its smells really good sexy and fresh for woman. My late father's last Christmas gift to me. One of my favorite scents. I want to love this because the name Chanel is a classic. The woodiness reminded me of Coco Noir. It takes time to fall in love with the patchouli Chanel Chance but once you are in love, it is the love of your life. I have been wearing this since 2007 and still love this fragrance. This scent have something rareit must be hyacinth . I compared the EDP to the EDT, and found the EDP less strong -- maybe smoother/softer. It was strong like really strong! ,, . , , . , . 3 :-)). It just smells like urine!!! Try EDT if EDP is too heavy for you. This perfume is so pretty! And I think you can really smell the top, middle and bottom notes through the day, definitely not monotone. The earthiness of the patchouli keeps it from being too young or casual. Perfect for everyday. Love! Not my type of fragrance. It doesnt project a lot on me, its more of a skin scent, though i can smell it at random moments. This is an 'allright' for me. One of my all time favorites. I have the largest (150ml) bottle of this that is fresh and hardly used for a fair price. So I had a 100 ml bottle of Chanel Chance EDP for 4 years and had to give it away because I just never wore it. I'm always surprised to see it come up in the "sexiest scents" discussions on the forum as I've always considered this the least sexy fragrance in my collection. More green, peppery and zingy than anything. This one seems to be a chameleon! This is a review for the eau De toilette. Unfortunately, on my skin, i get a distinct urine note with Chance. I don't think any perfume on the market smells as chic and elegant as this. Smells exactly like I imagined it would. Reminds me so much of highscool, very much an early 2000s scent, but not dated. I loved it. Thats because originally I liked the pineapple note in the edt but then I realized that Im really an edp girl. Chance is another perfect example of Chanel's impeccable blending. Hats off to Jacques Polge. It's a very classic, elegant fragrance and I think all ages can pull it off. To say it is multi-faceted is an understatement! I add few lines to express how much I love the house of Chanel; elegantly posh, wonderful house. Theres so many I like more than this now and from the Chanel lineup Id much rather have Coco Mademoiselle, Eau Premiere or No 5 Leau. The first time I tried it I quickly grabbed my Glam Jasmine to layer over it because it was so strong in a retro way like Passion or Opium and not feminine at all. There seems to be a problem serving the request at this time, {"modules":["unloadOptimization","bandwidthDetection"],"unloadOptimization":{"browsers":{"Firefox":true,"Chrome":true}},"bandwidthDetection":{"url":"https://ir.ebaystatic.com/cr/v/c1/thirtysevens.jpg","maxViews":4,"imgSize":37,"expiry":300000,"timeout":250}}. It's pretty, feminine, playful yet office appropriate. The start is more fresh. its cozy but also a bit elegant. In a hurry, I grabbed my bottle of Chance and spritzed it on. It's very floral, sweet and powdery. I dont particularly like either Mademoiselle or Chance but I would not dream of making personal insults against people that wear them, The words that describe this fragrance best is "Simply beautiful" or "Beauty in simplicity". Its a grown up casual day to day scent. I love it; it's light and breezy, feminine, charming, gorgeous. However, this is my holiday scent, so I only wear it when I am on holiday (apart from the occasional guilty spritz when I am booking a holiday or wishing I was on holiday). But I think it's a romantic scent, terrifically blended in true Chanel tradition, and surely suitable for any age.

Then jasmine and pineapple. I get a lot of orange and grapefruit, but it's widened out into a rosy musk and some other distinct florals I can't describe. Kind of reminds me of a perfume store. It's laid back and kind of fancy st the same time, perfect for summer days when you want to dress up, but only a little bit. 10/10. It perfectly embodies that sense of posh sophistication that Chanel does so well. Compared to Coco Mademoiselle, Chance has pineapple and is greener, spicier and has more of that signature Chanel muskiness. But I feel like Chance would be a great scent early in the morning right after shower when getting ready for work or gym etc. I love it from opening to drydown. I have the weirdest reaction to this perfume. At this moment she is using EDP and it smells amazing on her. The pineapple and pepper are screechy, the perfume indeed smells very 'Chanel' but it's not what I was expecting at all. For Eau tendre, or offer me something. And I must say the gift was appropriate, I know this is not so popular but it's the Chanel I like more. If I just want to wear a tee-shirt and go to the supermarket, this one feels a little wild.
