I was so excited when I got my bottle of this ( I have the mist) but was so dissapointed when I tried it, don't get me wrong this smells really good but I am a Vanilla lover and I thought this would be so full of that calming-sweet vanilla scent but in my skin it just smells weird, the sillage is so poor. Not what I was expecting I won't purchase it again. I was glad I had only gotten a travel size and hadn't wasted a whole lot of money on it. If you love this, then you'll probably be delighted with Lavanila Pure Vanilla perfume. I found it to be quite linear in its presentation and its longevity to be almost non-existent for me. This to me smells to friendly, too basic to be sexy..if I couldn't afford hypnotic poison I'd probably wear this at night. A little floral and powdery dry down too. The mist is not too overwhelming so it's good & comforting aroma before you sleep. As I sit here today, smelling it, I think it's one of the notes that makes this fragrance so classic and endearing. In fact, I prefer the Vanilla Bean Noel, and to me, the VBNoel smells like what I thought Warm Vanilla Sugar SHOULD smell like. It smells like a synthetic mess of off-putting aroma-chemicals with some vanilla thrown inand something minty?? I just tried vanilla bean Noel last year, so wvs is kinda tied with bean Noel now, but this is much more complex and comforting than bean Noel. But when I tried it on it quickly turned very musky and heavy, a little sickening. It lookscountry but in a modern way. The fragrance mists are a close skin scent and rarely project. I SO wish that BBW would bring back the original, creamy comforting scent and stop reformulating their supposed "Signature" scents! I used to work at BBW and someone brought in a whole bunch of old products from the90s to return. I do believe they have changed the formula. This is just awesome for the ladies.
